Why we love it:

This contemporary farmhouse in Falmouth blends each of its homeowner’s roots. Her New Orleans aesthetic is incorporated by using tall ceilings and oversized window and doors, while the farmhouse exterior reflects his New England style. The kitchen accentuates the height and airiness by extending the minimal wall cabinetry and custom zinc hood to the ceiling. Painted taupe cabinetry create a soft, less formal family space, while the reflective white marble countertops set off the subtle color. The island’s seating for four is set on the back and adjoining side making for a conversational atmosphere.
