I am currently training in order to support the project management side of the business. This means that once design decisions have been made, it is my job to confirm these details, find technical specifications, and organize any additional information. Interpreting this information allows us to create install binders which are utilized by contractors throughout the building process, ensuring a seamless transition from ideation to fruition in a clients built-environment.
Aside from my assisting with project management duties, I also help with day-to-day organization and maintenance of the office space to help provide efficiency to the entire team.

I am a recent graduate and this is my first job in the kitchen design and remodeling field. I completed a semester-long internship with Kitchen Cove Design Studio as part of my program, and came back as an employee to improve my professional skills and learn even more about the field of kitchen design.

I really enjoy getting to see the variety that can be achieved within the relatively niche field of kitchen design. I never expected to see such breadth in projects given that every kitchen possess the same function, but even so, Kitchen Cove has no two project that are exactly alike; each space has distinct character.

Although I am not a designer, I would like to think that my design approach values functional practicality and historicity.

The human/social aspect of design seems to be the most important in my opinion. The kitchen is the heart of the home and welcomes the many people, therefore these social elements of the home are incredibly important.

The first project which I was able to see from conception to completion (Jezowski-Shane) was extremely special. I was able to visit the jobsite many times and loved sharing in the excitement that came from the home owners upon its completion. The fact that this project was a historic remodel also made it especially interesting.

As someone interested in the history of buildings and their environments, seeing designs which combine the built-environments' historical roots with the natural environment are always inspiring.

I enjoy spending time outside, reading, cooking/baking. I also love anything that involves visual art, whether that is creating things myself or going to museums or theater productions.
